File Transfer by Eucalyp from Noun Project

An FTP client is a software application that is used to connect to a remote FTP (File Transfer Protocol) server in order to transfer files between the client and the server. The FTP protocol is a standard network protocol used to transfer files from one host to another over a TCP-based network, such as the internet.

FTP clients support various operations, such as uploading and downloading files, creating and deleting directories, renaming files and directories, setting file permissions, and more. FTP clients also typically provide features like resume support, which allows interrupted file transfers to be resumed from where they left off, and encryption, which helps secure the connection between the client and server.
